I found this article “How to Teach Others About Your Child’s Food Allergies” By Marissa Brassfield and thought it was great.
When I did my Child/Infant CPR certification through the Red Cross, I paid a small fee (about $15) to include an additional teaching block on EpiPens and alergic reactions. I then invited my friends, parents of my daughter’s friends, our babysitter, and anyone else in my daughter’s life to join me. CPR is a life skill that everyone buys into, and tacking on an extra 15 minutes for EpiPen training was so simple.
Anyone have any other suggestions or experiences to share?
